The Circular Classroom was pleased to be part of this year's Let’s Paint The Town Green, a community event that brought residents together to explore simple and practical ways to live more sustainably. Organised by Aljunied Hougang Town Council to bring environmental awareness directly into the heartlands, the event showcased how everyday actions - from reducing waste and recycling correctly to reusing and upcycling materials—can collectively make a positive impact on our environment. Visitors enjoyed a wide range of hands-on activities and interactive exhibits by green partners. They learned about responsible e-waste disposal, textile recycling, creative upcycling techniques, and sustainable lifestyle habits through games, demonstrations, and workshops suitable for all ages. It was inspiring to see families, students, and residents engaging enthusiastically with sustainability topics and discovering that living greener can be both accessible and enjoyable. We thank the organisers for bringing together so many passionate partners and creating a vibrant platform for community learning and action.
