Over 420,000 students are enrolled in Primary, Secondary, Mixed Level Schools or Junior Colleges in Singapore.

Based on a Pilot Study by SMU-X in 2023, over 70% of students own 3 or more sets of school uniforms.

About 86% of school uniforms end up in general waste or are donated to organisations where further usage is mostly unknown.

Calling all PSG Chairpersons - Go Green PSGs
Parent Support Groups (PSGs) across Singapore are doing amazing work to support sustainability in schools - from recycling drives to greener events and community initiatives. In support of this year's Go Green SG, Singapore Management University (SMU-X) and The Circular Classroom are running a short survey to map PSG led initiatives, understand and explore how PSGs can collaborate and learn from one another.
It takes just 8–10 minutes, and your input will contribute to an insight report for PSGs, schools and stakeholders at MOE and MSE for future possible initiatives.
The survey is for (Co)Chairpersons to fill out the questions on behalf of their PSGs.
Thank you for being part of Singapore's sustainability journey!
Here is the link to the survey.
