The Circular Classroom

The Circular Classroom is a social enterprise in Singapore committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and waste generated in the education system. We focus on reducing greenhouse gas emissions and waste generated in the education system.

Our Work

Our work contributes towards the education targets of the Singapore Green Plan 2030 and the Government's efforts to become a zero-waste nation. We train and mobilise students, parents and lifelong learners in the community to play an active role in advancing Singapore's sustainable development agenda. Our main focus is textile waste and to find solutions for the reuse, repurposing and recycling of pre-loved school uniforms.

U-Track and Greener Routes

Data and digital tools help transform sustainability from an abstract concept into tangible action. Our platforms empower schools, parents and students to track their impact, make informed choices and contribute to a more sustainable future.

U-Track helps schools and Parent Support Groups track the collection, reuse, repurposing and recycling of pre-loved uniforms while measuring their environmental and community impact.

Greener Routes

School Commute Carbon & Impact Platform

Greener Routes helps students and parents log their daily travel to school, measure carbon emissions, and discover how small changes in commuting habits can make a big difference for the environment.

Launched! U-Track - the Digital Platform for School Uniform Circularity

Schools and Parent Support Groups (PSGs) now have a powerful new tool to strengthen school uniform circularity. Developed in partnership with students from Singapore Management University (SMU), U-Track helps schools manage uniform donation drives, monitor the reuse of pre-loved uniforms and measure their environmental impact. By extending the lifespan of school uniforms, the platform supports waste reduction and promotes more sustainable school communities across Singapore.

We are currently piloting U-Track with eight schools across Singapore and are looking for two additional schools to join the programme. The initiative is supported by the SG Eco Fund.

Check out the platform and be part of the growing movement towards school uniform circularity.
